Just as we are about to launch into a new era for increasing the delivery of affordable homes, with a substantial increase in investment for the West of England, we have an exciting opportunity for a part time Housing Development Manager to help us achieve this in North Somerset.
As a Principle Urban Area and a key partner in The West of England Housing Group – a coalition of the four unitary authorities we can provide you with a challenging, progressive and creative environment to work within.
As a senior enabler working for North Somerset you should be prepared to deliver results through partnerships and be an exceptional communicator, negotiator and someone who can work flexibly as a team player.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Housing, Planning or Construction, with significant relevant work experience in development work within a Local Authority or RSL.
