myhousingcareer is a new kind of careers site for Housing Professionals and for those looking to move into Housing. We list jobs with employers direct, and allow employers to work together to take advantage of a single platform promoting the sector with one voice. We list live jobs and allow candidates to apply online, using a common application form – saving lots of time in the process.

We will be introducing shared Talent Pools, allowing employers to tap into a wealth of qualified candidates, reducing the expense of unnecessarily competing for good quality people. And we’ll soon be launching communities within the site – allowing jobseekers and employers alike to meet, exchange information, ideas and experiences.

This service has partnership working at its core. The Government’s agenda for increased efficiency and improved service delivery relies on all employers embracing the idea of sharing resources. Collaborative working will help the sector build a modernised, effective offering, not slowed by legacy systems and bureaucratic processes, but instead motivated by engaging with customers and employees, making a real difference to people’s lives.
